A recent independent survey of popular NZ trampoline brands found that all the trampolines tested failed basic safety standards, with the exception of Springfree. New Zealand media were quick to respond:
A companion survey ran in Australia also, where 12 trampolines were tested against the Australian Standard for safety risks, ease of assembly and jumping performance. The Springfree Trampoline was the top performer there also, with the survey finding Springfree to be the safest trampoline of them all.
Springfree Trampoline was the only trampoline to fully pass the shock test. The other trampolines failed the shock test and pose potential strangulation and/or limb entrapment hazards between the enclosure net and bed and/or frame.
The New Zealand survey also rated the Springfree R54 has having the best bounce of the trampolines they tested.

We know that almost all trampoline brands now claim to be ‘designed for safety’, and many even go as far as trying to look like a Springfree, so in the interests of safety we urge potential buyers to seek out independent and impartial advice such as the above survey.
