Why a Round Trampoline could suit your family...

At Springfree we have three trampoline shapes in different sizes (8ft, 10ft, 11ft and 13ft) to suit different garden sizes, family sizes, ages, and weights. We want you to make an informed decision so this page gives guidance on our  round trampolines.

Round trampolines are considered the safest trampoline shape due to jumpers being drawn back to the middle on every jump.

Round trampolines are a classic garden trampoline shape.  They are give the best bounce in the middle of the trampoline where children can achive a consistent high bounce.  They are for this reason cosidered safest for single use because by the nature of the bounce, jumpers are drawn back into the middle if they stray outside of the middle area.

Round Trampoline Options

The round trampoline really suits most garden shapes, the smaller compact 8ft round being best for small gardens and young jumpers.  Our medium and jumbo (10ft and 13ft) trampolines are best for larger garden sizes and families with a range of jumping ages.

Round Trampoline FAQ's

What is the minimum space required to set up Springfree's round trampolines?

8ft Compact Round Trampoline:

The minimum space required around the trampoline is 14ft x 14ft.  We recommend a minimum of 3ft clearance from the edge of the bounce mat outwards.  Our Flexinet design (the enclosure that surrounds the trampoline) extends outwards to catch a bouncer that falls out of the standard jump area and guides them back into the safe jumping space.  The net is designed to flex to avoid injuries, but it does mean that clear space is required around the trampoline to ensure that there are no hard surfaces in that area.  Our instruction on total space required for a trampoline relates to the mat size (8ft) plus the 3ft clearance space.

10ft Medium Round Trampoline:

The space required is for safety, and to protect the trampoline from any walls, structures and fences which may damage the net or mat rods. The minimum space required for the 10ft Medium Round is 16ft x 16ft.

13ft Jumbo Round Trampoline:

The space required is for safety, and to protect the trampoline from any walls, structures and fences which may damage the net or mat rods. The minimum space required for the 13ft Jumbo Round is 19ft x 19ft.

From the blog: Why Buy A Round Trampoline?

Choosing the right shape is more important than you think and it’s not just about aesthetics or size.

Round trampolines have always been the traditional and standard shape trampoline. After the many years as a Springfree expert, I’ve found many pros and cons to Round trampolines, many facts that you probably didn’t know about.

As round trampolines are more common, they tend to be more affordable and fit all size gardens. Springfree Round trampolines start at £895 for the smallest; 8ft Compact Round upsizing to the 10ft Medium Round at £1,095 leading to our biggest; 13ft Jumbo Round at £1,495.

Each one of our Round trampolines are different but the one similarity it’s the main bounce hot spot in the centre.
