Here at Springfree UK we’re always ready to help answer your questions, whether its over the phone or on live-chat on the website, either way we leave no questions unanswered! Over the years we have noticed a select few that we are asked quite a lot, so we thought it might be easier for you if we wrote a blog about it!

We have constructed a list of what feel are the most commonly asked questions and answered them all right here for you, saving you the time and effort of finding out for yourselves!

So here goes…

Q: Do I need to register my warranty or am I automatically enrolled for 10 years?

A: Yes, you need to register your warranty within the first year of purchase in order to qualify for the fantastic 10-year warranty that Springfree has! It takes around 5 minutes to do, so we recommend you get it done the day you receive your trampoline, and don’t add it to that never ending list of little jobs you need to do! Please follow the link below and this will take you straight to our warranty page https://www.springfreetrampoline.co.uk/warranty-information

Q: If the trampoline is designed to stay outside all year round, why do I need an All-weather cover?

A: The All-weather cover is to protect your investment during those harsh winters or stormy nights, giving you extra peace of mind that the trampoline is all compact and tucked away, reducing the likelihood of weather damage. Additionally, the all-weather cover is commonly used when people go away on holiday, or if the trampoline is not being used as much during winter, to help keep the trampoline clean and tidy for when you are ready to bounce again!

Q: Can I buy spare parts for my really old Springfree Trampoline?

A: Yes! We have spare parts for all of our trampolines, old and new, and can get these delivered straight to your door. Just call our Head Office and tell us what you need and we will help you to find the right parts you’re looking for.

Q: What is the total clearance space needed? And why?

A: Springfree trampolines require 3ft (around 90cm) clearance space around the trampoline. This is because our Enclosure net is fully flexible, so if your child (or you!) was to fall into the net, it is designed to catch them and bring them back towards the centre of the trampoline. This is why the trampoline must have a clearance space around it to prevent anything obstructing the enclosure net and the enclosure rods from doing their very important job.

Q: Can Springfree Trampolines be installed into the ground? Is this safe?

A: Springfree Trampolines are designed to be the safest trampoline built exactly as they are, and that means above ground! We would not recommend you lower your trampoline into the ground as this reduces the amount of reaction time a child has if they were to fall. However, it has been done before. It is your garden and your trampoline so if you would like to lower it, you can, but you cannot lower it any more than the frame (below the white mat rods). So this will mean that the trampoline will still be around 1ft above ground, plus the enclosure net on top of that as well. Customers who chose to do this usually purchase the Black Rod upgrade as well just to help everything to blend in a bit more. Please see our other blog called In-ground trampolines vs Springfree Trampolines for more information: https://www.springfreetrampoline.co.uk/blog/in-ground-garden-trampolines-vs-springfree-trampolines

Q: Where in the UK do your installation teams cover?

A: Please see our Delivery FAQ page for more information: https://www.springfreetrampoline.co.uk/delivery-faq-s

Q: If I purchase second-hand trampoline, will the warranty be transferred?

A: Short and sweet, unfortunately not. The warranty only qualifies to the original Springfree Owner and is cancelled when the trampoline is sold on.

Q: I am moving house, can you help me move my trampoline?

A: Yes we can! The service is £395, we will dismantle your trampoline, take it to your new property and rebuild it there for you. If your properties are a little bit too far away from each other then we will do the dismantle and rebuild on two separate days. Just give us a call and we can get this arranged for you!

Q: Can a Springfree Trampoline be installed in my sloped garden?

A: This may be a bit tricky and depends on the slope…but it can be done! If your garden is at a 12% incline or less then the Trampoline will be fine in your garden. A lot of customers with a sloped garden choose to dig a small channel underneath the base of the legs at the higher end of the slope, this will help to level out the trampoline without reconstructing your entire garden!

Q: Can I purchase my Springfree Trampoline and accessories on Finance? How do I do this?

A: We have two finance options available for customers wanting to purchase a Springfree Trampoline with accessories, these are the Buy Now Pay Later, which is a 12-month interest free agreement, and the 24 months interest free option. If you would like to place your order using finance, please just give us a call so we can ask you a few questions (takes around 5 minutes) then we can submit this electronically and we get an immediate response if you have been approved – it’s that easy!

Q: What Trampoline is best for my son/daughter who does gymnastics?

A: The bigger the trampoline the safer it is for the child to do gymnastics and tricks. Either the Large Oval, Large Square or Jumbo Round trampoline would all be great for gymnastics. Typically the Large Oval is probably more popular for those wanting to use the trampoline for gymnastics, this is because its narrow shape but long length helps those training to perform a straight-line tumble. Both the Large Oval and Jumbo Round will give you 13ft in length, but the Large Square offers 13ft diagonally across the trampoline, so really it depends on the shape of your garden!

Q: Does a Springfree Trampoline have to be on grass?

A: The trampoline can go on grass, AstroTurf, concrete, patio, and most other garden surfaces as long as it is even and flat. If the trampoline is going on any other surface apart from grass, please note that you will not be able to use the Ground Anchor accessory as these include stakes that go 1ft into the ground.

Q: Why should I choose a more expensive Springfree Trampoline over a cheaper one with springs?

A: Springfree trampolines are designed with safety being the key focus, and you can’t put a price on safety! Traditional sprung trampolines have many dangerous features, especially the springs, so although the design is cheaper it also compromises on the safety of the trampoline. Additionally, all new Springfree Trampolines have our fantastic world-leading 10-year warranty which you certainly don’t get with any other trampolines!

Q: Can I choose a delivery/installation time slot?

A: You can certainly request a specific date or day if you need the trampoline for a special occasion, and we will do our absolute best to meet this for you! Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific time, just the day. The team will give you a call an hour before they are due to arrive though so you wont have to wait in all day! Alternatively if you have side access to your garden and you give us permission, we are happy to go in and install it without you there, it’s up to you!

Q: Do you deliver to Ireland?

A: Yes, please call us to find out costs for delivery to Ireland when you order your trampoline and we can get this booked in for you.
